RIPE NCC Roundtable Meeting

The RIPE NCC is one of five Regional Internet Registries (RIRs) which provides Internet resource allocations, registration services and co-ordination activities to support the operation of the Internet globally. RIPE NCC Roundtable Meeting for Governments and Regulators will take place at the Schiphol Sheraton hotel in Amsterdam on 7 February 2006. The discussion will focus on issues of relevance to governments and regulators, for example, how to participate in and influence IP address management policy-making; industry self-regulatory, open structures and processes used by the RIPE NCC and the global Internet community; RIPE and the Policy Development Processes; IPv4/IPv6 address space; The Root Name Server System - Operation of the K-root Server and Public Policy Aspects of Address Space Allocation. |
