| The European Social Science History Conference is organised by the International Institute of Social History (IISH), an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences. The European Social Science History Conference (ESSHC) purpose is to bring together scholars interested in explaining historical phenomena using the methods of the social sciences. Here all the interested parts can exchange your knowledge in small groups. The conference has sessions on any topic and any historical period. It is organized in a large number of networks, which cover a certain topic. The conference took place from 22 - 25 March 2006 in Amsterdam. The IISH organizes the ESSHC once every two years. |
