The 27th Amsterdam Antiquarian Book, Map and Print Fair

Today, 6 April 2006, The 27th Amsterdam Antiquarian Book, Map and Print Fair will be opened in the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam (PTA). It is just behind Amsterdam Central Railway Station, on the wharf of Het IJ. The fair will last for 3 days and will end up on 8 April. Alexander Pechtold, the Minister for Government Reform and Kingdom Relations will open this event at 4 p.m. The lectures will be held Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8. Visitors can also attend exhibition of the KNAG during all days of the fair. The fair is officially endorsed by the largest professional association of antiquarians worldwide, the International League of ntiquarian Book Dealers (ILAB) and organized by the Dutch Antiquarian Booksellers Association, the NVvA.
